Some of you may remember my lodging crisis from 2 months ago. But here it is again in a nutshell. I was scheduled to be at Teesside current cabins on the 11,12th and 13th. I was at the granite park chalet . on the 14th. A month before my trip I find out through anterra its only two nights, leaving me without lodging for the thirteenth.
For a month the reservation people looked. 2 days before I was scheduled to leave they told me they had a room at the many glacier. She said take it or leave it. To take it meant paying 135 bucks more per night. To leave it would have meant cancelling my vacation a few days early and losing what i had payed for the chalet which was over 200 bucks. So of course I said book it.
Now, npr telling me they will refund meth fifteen dollar deposit fee but I have to eat the cost of the many glacier hotel because I had the choice to not book the room. I think that's unfair and unreasonable. The choice they gave me was no choice at all.
Can somebody help me? Or point me in the right direction.....thanks
