Because we will be flying in, there may be some backpacking gear that may be forgotten. Also, I don’t want to buy ice gear (i.e. microspikes/crampons, ice ace, etc.), if not needed at the time of our trip.
Is there a gear rental place near Glacier that anyone knows about?
i imagine most people carry telescoping trekking poles they can travel with these days, but since we normally use giant hiking sticks that were not great for air travel we got dollar store mops in Whitefish. The handles worked well for hiking sticks, like little trekking poles... gave them to some folks on our way out/ was a good last minute option.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how many days you'll need them. Crampons aren't cheap.
And I wouldn't go "cheap" if buying since your life may depend on them. I have these.
