It's a nice little spot near a lake. I'd go back!

I've heard it can be really buggy. How was it for you and when were you there?

I suppose it could be buggy being by the water and all, though we were there around the first week of September I think and I don’t recall bugs being an issue at all while we were there, which was quite nice, but maybe we just got lucky on that perhaps. 👍

I camped there for a couple of nights over Memorial day weekend a few years ago. There were no bugs yet but a moose was hanging out in the lake in the morning and evening. It makes for a nice easy early season trip from Waterton.

Camped there more times than I can remember. In the summer there are bugs for sure. But I only remember them being really bad once when we in the campsite nearest the outhouse. They have changed the camp site layout as well. The campsites used to be nicer but now they are more in the woods.
The views at the lake shore are very nice and there is usually a moose there to watch. The stream that feeds into the lake is better for swimming and cooling off than the lake which is pretty mucky.
